Registration and hosting data

  • What we collect: your name, email, optional mobile number, postal code and country, the path you chose, your registration details, and anything you choose to tell us.
  • Why: to confirm your seat, send schedule changes, plan accessible tables, and review hosting offers for campaign-finance compliance.
  • Who receives it: a small number of approved campaign staff. Private addresses, guest lists, and accommodation details are never published or emailed in full.
  • How long: through the current election cycle and any required Michigan recordkeeping period, then deleted.
  • Corrections and deletion: email ally@electallan.org and we will correct or delete your record.
  • We do not sell or share registration data for unrelated purposes.

Private addresses

Private homes are never plotted. Map markers show campaign areas only — an exact private address is shared directly with approved registrants after a conversation is confirmed.

A private home address is never published, never plotted on the map, never included in a public page, feed, or analytics event, and never placed in a notification body. It is released only to registrants the campaign and the host have approved, shortly before the conversation, and only for that conversation.

Analytics

We measure page traffic in aggregate only. Form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, accommodation requests, and questions for Allan are never sent to analytics.

Corrections, deletion, retention

Email ally@electallan.org to see, correct, or delete your record. Registration data is kept through the current election cycle and any required Michigan recordkeeping period, then deleted. Compliance records the campaign is legally required to retain are kept for the required period even after other data is removed.
