Hosting
Open a table where you already are.
Hosting means gathering roughly 6–12 people for one honest hour. You do not fundraise, you do not spend money, and you do not speak for the campaign. You started from Hamtramck Border.
I understand this is a request, not a confirmed event. I will not spend money, promise a venue, purchase food or supplies for the campaign, accept a special discount, publish an address, or represent a venue as a campaign partner unless Allan for All gives written approval. Any proposed goods, services, food, space, or discounts must be reviewed for campaign-finance reporting and source eligibility.
Four ways to host
Gatherings are small, conversational tables designed for roughly 6–12 people.
Host at home
The exact address stays private until attendance is approved and the event is confirmed.
Meet at a recommended public place
Subject to business hours, written venue permission, availability, capacity, cost, and campaign approval.
Suggest another accessible place
The campaign reviews it before publication.
Join virtually
Especially for the transnational path, or where a physical venue does not fit the requested hour.
Preferred-place ideas are subject to the venue's current hours, policies, availability, written permission, and campaign approval. Selecting a place is a request—not a reservation. No listed organization is presented as endorsing or sponsoring Allan for All.

Paid home dinner host pilot
For in-district and out-of-district home dinner hosting only. The expected table is 8–12 people. Applying does not guarantee selection or payment, and the program is not active until the campaign treasurer approves it in writing after campaign-finance, tax, worker-classification, safety, privacy, and reporting review. This option is not available on the transnational path.
| Component | Proposed cap | Payment basis |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed host stipend | $125 | Completed written hosting duties — never attendance |
| Dinner | Up to $25 per confirmed participant | Actual eligible cost, written preapproval, itemized receipt |
| Supplies / accessibility | Up to $50 | Actual eligible preapproved cost with receipt |
| Planning ceiling | $375 (8 people) – $475 (12 people) | Ceiling only — not authority to spend |
- Home dinner only. No paid breakfast, public-place, virtual, or transnational hosting through this pilot.
- Expected table of 8–12 people; final capacity follows the home's safety and access review.
- The stipend never depends on attendance, voting status, votes, donations, endorsements, fundraising, social posts, or campaign results.
- Food and supplies require written preapproval. No alcohol, entertainment, gift cards, or personal purchases.
- Tax IDs and banking details are never collected in this public form, by ordinary email, or in general admin views — only after conditional selection through secure vendor onboarding.
- No payment of $50.01 or more is made in cash; every expenditure is recorded with amount, date, purpose, payee name and address, and supporting receipt.
- Selection and payment are never guaranteed. Nothing is authorized until a signed agreement and treasurer approval exist.
If you are outside the United States
Participation is welcome; eligibility rules still apply. Foreign nationals may not donate, pay campaign expenses, provide event space or meals as a campaign contribution, fundraise, or participate in campaign financial or administrative decision-making. They may participate as uncompensated volunteers when permitted by law.
