Board governance · Two leadership engagements · Rolling basis

Boards don't change districts. Whole Health proposals do.

Change is a press release. A proposal is a record — seconded, voted, minuted, and enforceable. Allan for All is hiring two short-term leadership consultants to carry the Whole Health standard through eight weeks of DPSCD governance work, and to leave behind a system that keeps measuring after the campaign ends.

Two engagements

Two seats at the table. Both accountable to the record.

Campaign Operations & Strategy

Pitch for Chief of Staff

Narrative & Strategic Communications

Chief Content Editor

Own the record: editorial voice, policy translated into plain language, and a campaign archive that survives the closing week.

Rolling Hire · Paid 8-Week Engagement

Pitch for Chief Content Editor

Compensation

  • Competitive paid eight-week consulting engagement, hired on a rolling basis.
  • Base retainer plus potential completion incentive and compensation for specifically approved additional work.
  • Combined campaign budget: up to $6,000 across both leadership engagements.

See the protected engagement brief for the complete compensation structure.

Payment control

  • No consultant may independently trigger additional compensation.
  • Additional work must be specifically requested and described in writing.
  • Approval happens before work begins, with an approved amount or hourly ceiling.
  • Every approval is recorded in the campaign's expenditure-management system.
  • No retroactive pay for work that was never approved; exceeding estimated weekly hours does not increase compensation.
  • Any combined consultant compensation above $6,000 requires a written amendment and campaign authorization.

The work

Serious communication, not content volume.

  • Shape a serious, credible LinkedIn presence for a DPSCD Board candidate.
  • Turn education policy into accessible writing that respects the reader.
  • Build a narrative arc across eight weeks rather than disconnected posts.
  • Engage professional and civic audiences with judgment, not volume.

Weekly cadence

Weeks 1–3

~2–4 hrs/week

Learn the voice. One major post per week.

Weeks 4–6

~4–6 hrs/week

Two posts per week. Recurring issue threads.

Weeks 7–8

~6–10 hrs/week

Higher frequency, rapid turnaround, closing narrative.

Compliance, stated up front

A campaign engagement with clean boundaries.

  • Campaign-controlled accounts and privately funded resources only.
  • No DPSCD email, devices, software, phones, vehicles, stationery, or work time.
  • Spending authority is NONE by default; every expenditure needs written treasurer approval.
  • Paid consulting work is recorded separately from any uncompensated volunteer activity.
  • Internal strategy and unpublished drafts stay confidential.
